Yeah digital definitely doesn't surpass the standard patterns by any means especially in terms of universal effectiveness. Especially that ACU scheisse. And I have to say VSR pattern is one of my new favorites thanks to Vityaz, it's extremely effective in the environments here also.

VSR is almost a universal camo pattern, works in mountains, woodland and deserts. I recently acquired a Kazakstani mountain camo pattern BDU based on the old US 6-colour choc chip pattern

Funny how a talk on a spare filter section suddenly evolved into a digital camo bashing! But I digress comrades, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to sell spare filters on this site; that way, we can buy them from a fairly reliable source instead of sticking our heads in the dark just to get them.

Yes. Most of my filters from eBay come unsealed, dirty or damaged! A filter section would be great. I've noticed that there are no sites out there that draw any distinction between the many different Soviet/Russian filter types as I highlighted in the original post. If SovietArmyStuff did, it'd be a unique feature.
