Do any of you huts know a military surplus website that will sell one of these cheap? The entire set, bag, vinyl cover and the mask itself?
By the way. Live in Australia so that could be a problem, thanks.

If I cant get that what is the closest I could get? For the cheapest?

Thanks.

Bit of an odd question considering the M17 is an American piece of equipment and we typically only specialize in Eastern-Bloc memorabilia, but the only U.S. sellers I've seen charge roughly $125.00 USD for the complete set and eBay is constantly hounded by the Department of Defense to prevent the selling of these items to the public market (I should know, I got a letter from them after trying to sell an M40).

I do believe; however, that I can still find them here locally from some flea markets so if you want to tell me what kind of budget you're looking at I can try to help you (Please keep in mind these are sought after by collectors and CRBN freaks alike, and since it is U.S. equipment people deem these as top quality and deserving to be expensive, so be prepared to have a budget of $75.00 at least). Shipping it overseas will be on you though... I've not shipped much to Australia so I'm not sure how sensitive their customs departments are.

You can't import food items into Australia.

Well I really mainly want it because of it's look, I can get the cover for $10 and I just wondered will the cover for the m17 fit on the PBF Russian gas mask, they look pretty similar, planning on purchasing a Ozk aswell you see and I am aiming for a sort of post apocalyptic look.

Thanks guys.

The DOFF Cover will not fit the PBF, it will drape over the mask but will not provide a protective coating like it would with the M17.

I can get you the M17, but as I said before it could be quite expensive.

As a slightly cheaper alternative to the M17, there is the East German, Polish or Czech M10M mask, and the Bulgarian PDE-1 both of which are eastern bloc masks based on the M17 with just some slight variations. I know the M17 cover will fit on the M10M and the PDE-1 as I have owned one of each and used an M17 cover on them both. The M10M is available quite cheaply on ebay

On eBay there are hundreds of them available, if you can't find the one specifically for the M17 the one for the M40 works fine too.
