Превет. My name is Dakota and Im 18 years old. I live in Colorado and am a senior in High School. I play ice hockey and soccer and use to do karate. I want to eventually change my name to Alexander (Sasha). I dont know what I am going to do in life. I thought about joining the Russian military and becoming a fighter pilot. Does anyone know anything about this? So as intros go, I think I covered everything.

Thats interesting but my friend from Ukraine said that the normal military doesnt beat like that. They just make you run or push ups. He said that only Spetsnaz do that.

Generally a bit of physical abuse is the order of the day if any recruits are flagging. Lets face facts here - If you cant take being hit by your warrant officer then youll never stand up to combat

Plus one for what Vityaz said.

The only way you we find out the truth is to sign your name on the dotted line , and your life belongs to them like what Vityaz and i have done in the past.

What will happen if you get shoot down over a war zone, they will not give you a cup of tea and send you home 1st class .

Yea I like that better than the American system where they cant touch you. It makes for some tough soldiers though. Endurance is needed for soldiers. One question though, do Russian soldiers wear dogtags in training?

Yes. The standard issue tag is aluminium. Many soldiers privately buy steel tags as aluminium burns! Those who cant afford aluminium tags often make one from snapping the handle from a spoon and carving a number onto it, or using a bullet case
