But most of them, like Niva and UAZ is like an steel block that can drive. So it's actually really easy to fix, compared to the high-tech cars nowadays, where you risk blowing your car up because you touched one of them 20 wires stuffed behind the front lights when you were trying to change the bulb.

Moskvitch o0O!!! One of my nephew's still got it and its still working and it was made in 1972 I believe!!!!

I read an article somewhere 2-3 years ago saying that Niva is a very popular car choice in Norway as 2nd or 3rd car in the family. It stated that its because of its relatively low (compared to European cars) cost and excellent 4x4 capabilities. Basically a first car for your first kid ))

The last time I saw a Niva here in Belgium was years ago. I have my doubts as to whether we still have someone who imports those here.

The black UAZ you posted there seems to be an UAZ Hunter. A more "civilized" and expensive 469.

The one for airsoft purposes, is almost like the one I'm going for. But this I'm looking at got a Ford diesel engine.

If it's USD we're talking, I'd say it's "fair". Check what year model it is. You should avoid 1991-1996 models of the UAZ 469, they're harmed by the economic follow-up by the fall of the SSSR.
Up to 2004 models, they're "ok". Cheap plastic in the cars etc, but they're "ok". After 2004, they're all DAMN good.
And the 80's models are good too.

Keep in mind that the UAZs from the 90's got some problems with the transmission. Nothing serious, but they don't change gear too smoothly.
