I have seen and heard the first video to ad naseuam and never liked the song (don't know the artist), but rather had nice visuals. The song was too youthish rock/metal/core/something made to death here in the states.

the second video's music souds like it could have been made by an amateur, so it'd be even harder to track an artist unless you ask the guy who posted the video.

you can get this music as compilations from vityaz (some of them anyway), but if you're looking for a full length album you may try st petersburger, or at times actually have to kow someone in russia who can obtain them and upload them for you or send them via snail-mail.

I prefer the songs of blue berets, 80s afghan-war soviet artists (i've posted half an album on another thread), even the chechen music that is composed in a macabre/brooding style of soviet 80s war music like Alimsultanov, which isn't folk, but drones just the same.

if you think it's hard to find russian music like the ones you posted it's twice as hard to locate chechen music especially if the lyrical content deal with separatism, independance, anti-russian sentiment. it's nothing like what you'd expect islamist music to sound like (not the kind of dribble on insurgent/terrorist videos) the more modern chechen insurgent music sounds more folkish w rock elements though examples for anyone who cares to know below.
