Maybe you should leave your Ushanka out for some air. After all, anything could happen during shipping i.e animals, fleas, radioactive waste, etc. Anyway, my ushanka doesn't itch but to be fair it is made out of fish fur and it's about 7 years old? Still, when I first wore my balaclava it itches like hell but soon your get used to it.

Pretty sure my Ushanka's are not contaminated with radioactive waste...
