I haven't done one of these in a while due to a lot of the smaller pieces being hidden in boxes, but i finally managed to scrape an impression together. This one highlights the meaning less is more, which is evident by the inclusion of what i deemed most important to an in-and-out mission. I am wearing original naval infantry dark brown 80s TTSKO. Even though the loadout is pretty simple and to the point it was still a hassle putting it on by myself (paratrooper backpack and getting the shoulder strap over of the gasmask bag). some of the camera angles are unusual, and give the impression that i'm bigger in the chest than in reality, so i present many shots for your viewing. btw there's a big dark spot on the backpack, which was always there since i received it.

Cool pictures antisemitex! That camo kinda reminds me of a Ukrainian Camo pattern I've seen a while before. I wonder if the designs are related?

the ukrainian design is based off of TTSKO. they look similar in terms of patter/colour, but if you actually compare TTSKO and Ukrainian camo they are considerably different; Ukrainian colours are darker in black areas and brighter/almost mustard yellow. TTSKO is very subdued in terms of colour due to the material used (cotton) and darker colours (some TTSKO version differ. some are brown-redish, brown-greenish and the rare pink pattern). The Ukrainian camo is also baggier, and does not follow the cut of the afghanka (M87) and has velcro pocket closures whereas soviet TTSKO (M88) follows exactly the afghanka cut, is more form fitting/smaller when it comes to sizing, and has button colosures for pockets. I also own Ukrainian camo, that i used as a substitute before i obtained the rare TTSKO.

unfortunately the soviet para pack i used has some canvas strap portions, which are stuck and hard as hell to adjust to my size, so i may have to grease them to adjust them in the future.
