Hello everyone!

I recently was able to take still photos of all of the special forces equipment that I have obtained recently, some were left out of course due to time constraints on the photography session but here are the majority of them;

Starting off; Altyn and Fort Defender-2, both very authentic.

superb collection...if you got this from outside the US, did you have any issues with customs? Usually are there really any issues with customs?

And I have read that the Altyn is heavy...when you wear it, do you feel the weight as much as they say you do?

Well some helmets were obtained overseas and some weren't, my Altyn I got by bribing a museum to 'lose,' their stock in replace of a large sum donation.

But the other helmets were mostly acquired overseas, and if you have a guy who knows what he's doing and can pay a little extra to the customs guy to overlook a few things it goes pretty well. If not then just make sure you don't buy a helmet with com systems in it, if they don't get 'approval,' from customs more often than not they will get your seller in trouble since that stuff is not authorized to leave the country of Russia.

The K6-3 and other helmets without coms; A-OK. Just be prepared to pay a hefty price for shipping and the helmet itself...

As for the weight, Altyn is not bad at all in my opinion, but then again I slept with my SPHERE helmet on for about a week when I got it and it beefed up my neck quite a bit... Now the K6-3 is a different story, that helmet is ridiculously heavy and mostly in part by the reinforced face shield, if you take that off it's not bad at all. ^^
