Bit of political trouble here the last few days over the decision to only fly the union flag on certain days. On Monday night protestors stormed Belfast city hall and caused trouble, now tonight they have thrown missiles at police here, intimidated people doing their shopping, ransacked shops kicked cars and generally behaved like a bunch of antisocial fucking little bastards on a chimpout. If I ran the country the minute trouble like this started id be ordering helicopter gunships to be sent in from the nearest military base and authorising the police on the ground to open fire with live rounds

The only problem is that government tolerates this kind of shit. It allows them to put blame on those idiots and draw attention away from other problems in the country mainly their inability to stabilise economic situation. I will not be surprised if the government is secretly beyond those riots:(
I also agree with the force approach to such incidents the only problem the moment you take such action you should be expecting guests from across the ocean and no one wants to follow Gadaffi's fate Sad Actually no there is no oil there so you guys are safe Smile Also all those peace loving monkeys from across the world who not only have not seen a real riot but never even were in the fight at school but spent all their live safely in parents basement playing computer games and watching porn will start screaming they heads out about how dare the government use force, everything can be solved peacefully blah blah blah … And now days with internet available every little shit got an opinion and think that it is the only right one. I included Wink
I do apologise if my political opinion offend anyone but that’s how the cookie crumbles. This is a discussion and everyone allowed to voice their opinion. And after all I was born in the USSR, and in Soviet Russia you don’t run politics, the politics run you Smile
P.S. Vityaz I hope it will be resolved soon, stay out of trouble mate.

I couldn't agree more with what you're saying. I can really be the chap who says "that correct and that's not", but I strongly agree with your thoughts!!!

I also see that there has been found a load of bombs before Hillary Clinton is going to visit...

Ach, it's sad to hear this, Vityaz! Stay out of trouble, and take care, brother!

Is this perhaps somehow linked to the occupation of Britian thing that the IRA used to use as a way to recruit operatives for their cause?

Either way, economics most likely has something to do with it. Funny how no one has adopted Iceland's approach to relieve their economy and focus on bringing the people out of their financial trauma rather than the banks and large corporations.

The Soviet Union was a great new way of politics and thinking for the people, but sadly the people lost say when the fate of the country started to shift into the hands of those who wished to control it for themselves. Similar to many other countries I could name right now that are a supposed Democracy.

Certainly agreed on that one...

Completely agree, but to be more specific i personally think that socialism is a perfect economical model (i think i wrote something simular somewhere on forums already) but sadly due to human factor (mainly greed and desire for power) it can can never work.

Well if people would be more involved it would work very well, and especially for most governmental organizations such as health care, welfare, and nutrition, it would benefit greatly from the politics of Socialism.

It's all about keeping each other in check, the people must have those who audit the government, and the government must have power to audit those people, but never can there be a break in the equilibrium less there be an overpowering of one or the other... Which ultimately causes the collapses we are seeing today.

Well, I shouldn't boast of them I work for, but the DPRK is going to be the oldest socialist state soon... I must say that it is the place that has worked best with few greedy people. Unfortunately, they're getting screwed over by tons of embargoes etc. so fuel and such is impossible to import... Neutral
The situation is very different from how it is being "shown" in media, which reports about a country which they themselves says that is "too closed to get information from" - makes sense... lol

Everyone co-operates which each other in a brotherly way. Very friendly people, always grateful and cheerful.

BTW, the internal security forces caught a south Korean terrorist (he was going to bomb a monument in a crowd - with his mother calling a cellphone-wired bomb). He was interviewed before getting to court... I might just find the link if anyone wishes to see?

Take care and stay safe bro. I've been in my own share of political troubles here in the Philippines, and the protesters are just usually too timid to work or have been brainwashed by rebels. Very Happy The military and police here fires live rounds against the protesters and that usually works better than any high powered water cannon they can muster.

Congratulations to our North Korean comrades then! Very Happy Maybe we can go to North Korea together sometime, so we can see it's real state instead of the one shown in the media. Very Happy

With the successful launch of the Kwangmyongsong-3 v2 the departments invited me here and there, but I got too little cash to get there... Neutral

Well, all of us could've taken a trip once. I'm only one call away from fixing it, hah!

BTW, how are you doing Gafrin? I mean, it seems like your place has been hit by riots and more storms lately?
