Got: GP-5, Ushanka, and Chernobyl patch

First things first: Cool stamps on the box! I'll be collecting those!
GP-5 is in fine condition, but very dusty. will a soak in water help at all, with the filter removed?
Second of all, i'm impressed that it is an unused filter... very cool!

Ushanka: In fine shape, didn't realize the pin was tucked inside until i pulled down the ear flaps!

Chernobyl patch: Made for a jumpsuit I guess! Still a good collectors item.

I will be buying from here in the future.

As for the GP-5, I wouldn't soak it in water so much as I would just use a damp cloth and get all of the excess off, (by the way that's actually chalk dust for preservation, nothing harmful or anything like that just so you're not worried about being around the dust), I fear that soaking in water takes an extended amount of time to dry out unfortunately, so damp cloth, dry cloth, and give it a good few exhales to get everything in working condition.

I cut mine out the moment I received them as well comrade! Ukrainian stamps have a special flair to them that I can't explain. Smile

Actually that's a GP-6 my friend, you can tell by the voice amp and the ear cutouts, it's also a civilian model so that commands would be recognized and replied to without too much trouble.
