How many 'meals' can I have with one MRE pack? Can I last the whole day on one pack?

I believe they are designed for a full day. They could theoratically last longer but not recommended; something about low caloric count. Yet again, I am a short guy,

American MRE's were designed to be distributed 3 times a day on some circumstances. Sometimes they would be able to deploy a field kitchen and would try to get at least 1 hot meal a day out of that kitchen, then issue the other two meals as MRE's. But under extreme circumstances, one MRE could last you the entire day due to the amount of calories in the meal, they now issue calorie bars which in circumstances where you have little to no food you can still survive using that survival bar for about 3-4 days.

Russian MRE's on the other hand, one kit is for one full day, it includes enough potted 'meat,' crackers, and other food to last for that day if rationed properly.
