ShMS Soviet Military NCO Officer NBC Rubber Gas Mask
These are Soviet-made high-quality gas masks,
designed to protect the respiratory organs, face and eyes from nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) agents.
(toxic agents, radioactive dust and bacteriological aerosols)
Operating conditions: all weather, with ambient temperatures ranging from -40° F to +147° F
The mask is new, unused Soviet military surplus.
Small eye pieces allow for corrective lenses to be fitted.
Also has a voice-transmitter which enhances verbal communication.
Was issued to Soviet NCO’s and officers only.
40mm canister.
One of the most intimidating gas mask designs.
Very rare.
